2025 Impact Report – The Common Ones

A warm welcome, reflecting on the journey through 2025, celebrating challenges overcome and progress made in building a more sustainable, entrepreneurial community.

2025 Highlights

Impact Driven Entrepreneurship Program

In 2025, we launched the very first edition of the Impact Driven Entrepreneurship Program. This year’s format featured 10 open events, welcoming around 100 participants across all sessions. The program brought together a diverse and high-quality group of entrepreneurs, including:

  • Davide Petrillo and Jurnit, who are gamifying hobbies for social impact
  • Harsha and Realible, developing a solution to turn plastic waste into building blocks
  • Alex and Gaya, creators of a fashion crowdfunding platform

This inaugural edition was made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of Tuborgfondet, reflecting the value of strong partnerships in supporting purpose-driven innovation.

Looking ahead, the 2026 edition will focus on the clean energy vertical, transition to a digital format to extend reach, and adopt a cohort-based structure to further increase quality and impact.

During this period, we also closed the Enter the Circle project—a two-year collaboration to boost the circular economy spirit among EU youth. Huge thanks to all partners for their hard work, especially our first European project partner, People of 2050, for their trust and guidance throughout.

Circular Economy Mastery & Other Programs

The Circular Economy Mastery course remained available for self-enrollment throughout 2025, but saw limited activity and engagement. Revitalizing and promoting this resource will be a strategic priority for 2026, with the aim of reaching more entrepreneurs and fostering greater participation.

Eco-Tourism Innovations & International Partnerships

There were no active international partnership projects, such as ETIRD or Green Digital, during 2025. Despite launching several proposals, the shifting geopolitical climate placed significant stress on impact work. Policy priorities across Europe moved toward AI development, energy security, and resilient supply chains, which impacted funding and attention for circular economy initiatives.

Our Impact

In 2025, we reached a milestone of 30 active members within our community. Throughout the year, we focused our efforts on delivering 10 sessions as part of the main Impact Driven Entrepreneurship Program, without organizing any additional workshops or side events. From an environmental perspective, we maintained our commitment to minimizing our carbon footprint by ensuring that no travel was undertaken for organizational activities. While waste collection and upcycling were not prioritized this year, these areas remain on our radar for potential future initiatives. On the social front, there is no formal social outcome data to report for 2025.

Thanks to the support of Tuborgfondet, we were able to deliver our flagship program and sustain our operations throughout the year. Our focus remained on maximizing impact through strong partnerships and efficient resource allocation, without disclosing sensitive financial details.

Looking Forward

2026 marks a new chapter as we go commercial with the launch of TCO Studio—the first agency dedicated to driving clean tech transfer from Nordic providers to emerging economies. If you have a great solution ready to pilot, we invite you to reach out and collaborate.

Our strategic focus is on the energy vertical, prioritizing a safer future by balancing market needs with our purpose-driven mission. We’re excited to participate in four new international projects:

  1. Elai: Empowering trainers in the use of AI for green and social entrepreneurship
  2. N-Green: The primary goal of the project is to strengthen environmental sustainability in cities and communities by equipping civil society organizations (CSOs) with the tools and support needed to foster participatory practices at the neighborhood level.
  3. Digem: DIGEM addresses the urgent need to equip adults with the skills required to thrive in Europe’s twin green and digital transitions. The project strengthens the capacity of adult education providers to deliver innovative, relevant, and future-oriented learning opportunities
  4. Fashion 4Skill: An EU-LATAM partnership to enhance circular fashion across continents

We’re also launching the next edition of our Impact Driven Program on March 17 sign up early, as spots are limited!

Gratitude

Special thanks to the community members who were deeply involved this year: Anais Tinez, Davide Petrillo, Alixe Averty, and Natalia Bertinelli.

We also want to thank all the partners who contributed to the delivery of the first Impact Driven Program: We Are Entrepreneurs, People of 2050, and Fashion Revolution Denmark. Our international partners have provided invaluable trust and guidance.

2025 was a year of closing loops, we grew as an organization and developed capabilities beyond any small boutique. We put in the hard work and are proud of where things are going. We are very optimistic about 2026.

This is a very different post from my first, which started as: “The Common Ones is an empty canvas, that will be painted along the journey.” Well, that canvas is far from finished, but in just four years it has become such a wonderful piece of art.

I want to thank all the people who have been involved since the beginning, honor mention to Carla Florio and Victor Jaramillo, our board, who have been so supportive since day one.

With gratitude,

Luis Ageitos
