Artificial Intelligence is profoundly transforming the way we learn, work, and communicate. The skills required of future professionals are evolving at an unprecedented pace: data interpretation, use of digital tools, understanding predictive models, problem-solving abilities, and continuous adaptability.
At the same time, there is a growing need for education systems that are more inclusive, sustainable, and capable of responding to the needs of learners with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
It is precisely in response to these challenges that Empowering Learning through AI was
created — an Erasmus+ project funded by the European Union in the field of Vocational
Education and Training (VET), coordinated by Consilia Formazione (Italy).
The partnership brings together four European organisations:
- Consilia Formazione (Italy)
- CF Elite Tutors (Cyprus)
- The Common Ones (Denmark)
- Europroyectos Erasmus (Spain)
Together, they share a common goal: to shape the future of vocational education and training by making it more innovative, sustainable, and adaptive through the responsible and innovative use of Artificial Intelligence.

Why this project? A European response to new learning needs
The widespread adoption of AI offers extraordinary opportunities, but also raises crucial questions:
- How can trainers use AI without losing the central role of human-centred education?
- How can genuinely personalised learning pathways be ensured for diverse groups of learners
- How can AI strengthen green skills and support sustainable development?
The project aims to address these challenges through concrete and innovative solutions:
✔ AI tools for skills mapping: to help trainers identify learners’ needs and provide targeted support.
✔ Adaptive tutoring models: offering personalised learning activities based on learners’ profiles and progress.
✔ Toolkits for green skills and social entrepreneurship: to support sustainability-oriented learning pathways.
✔ AI tools for international mobility: including pre-departure self-assessment, real-time
monitoring, and AI-generated post-mobility reports.
✔ AI-based impact evaluation model: to analyse engagement, track competence acquisition, and improve training effectiveness.

The ambition is clear: to make learning more human through the responsible, accessible, and innovative use of Artificial Intelligence.
The project officially started with the Kick-off Meeting held on 3–4 November 2025 in Córdoba, hosted by Europroyectos Erasmus. During the meeting, partners shared priorities, methodologies, roles, and digital tools, exploring how AI can support trainers and organisations in designing, delivering, and evaluating innovative learning pathways.
The consortium reviewed the project activities and confirmed its shared commitment to
developing accessible, practical, and high-quality resources for the European VET
community.
Throughout the project, the partnership will deliver:
- 1 Methodological Guide for integrating AI into skills mapping
- AI-driven checklists and templates for adaptive tutoring
- 1 Green Skills and Social Entrepreneurship Toolkit
- AI tools supporting mobility pathways
- 1 Impact Evaluation Toolkit
- Pilot activities involving 12 VET trainers and at least 60 learners/jobseekers
- A Final Conference in Italy
- Open-access dissemination of all project results
