Circular Economy for young entrepreneurs

Enter the Circle is a project that aims to promote entrepreneurship among young people while facilitating the transition towards a sustainable and circular economy. The project was co-funded by the European Union and is implemented by the Common Ones and partners.

Our first outcome was to develop a competence framework to support our objectives.

Section 1: Circular Economy Principles and Strategies

The first focus area of the Enter the Circle project is circular economy principles and strategies. Circular economy is a system that aims to minimize waste and resource use by reusing and recycling materials. The project provides education and training on circular economy principles and strategies to young people through workshops, events, and online resources. The project aims to equip young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate circular economy principles into their businesses and daily lives.

Section 2: Sustainable Business Models

The second focus area of the Enter the Circle project is sustainable business models. The project encourages young people to develop sustainable business models that promote social and environmental responsibility. The project provides training and mentorship to young entrepreneurs to help them develop their business ideas and integrate sustainable practices into their operations.

Section 3: Resource Efficiency

The third focus area of the Enter the Circle project is resource efficiency. The project aims to reduce resource use and waste by promoting resource efficiency practices among young people. The project provides education and training on resource efficiency practices such as energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction.

Section 4: Sustainable Consumption and Production

The fourth focus area of the Enter the Circle project is sustainable consumption and production. The project encourages young people to adopt sustainable consumption and production practices that promote environmental responsibility. The project provides education and training on sustainable consumption and production practices such as ethical sourcing, product lifecycle analysis, and waste reduction.

Section 5: Digitalization and Data Management

The fifth focus area of the Enter the Circle project is digitalization and data management. The project aims to promote the use of digital tools and data management practices that support sustainable and circular business operations. The project provides education and training on digitalization and data management practices such as digital supply chain management, data analysis, and automation.

Section 6: Governance and Policy

The sixth focus area of the Enter the Circle project is governance and policy. The project aims to promote policy and governance frameworks that support sustainable and circular business practices. The project provides education and training on policy and governance frameworks such as environmental regulations, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
