The Common Ones: Updated

The Common Ones’ project started with a simple idea: to create a community of game changers who believe in creating businesses that serve the community. Back then, we described the journey as a white canvas, on which a masterpiece could be achieved, and what a journey it has been. Fast forward two years and the project has grown into a thriving community that supports and empowers common people.

That original post was lost during a website update, but this gave the team an opportunity to create an updated version of The Common Ones. The focus of the project is to reduce inequalities and bridge the gap between communities. This can be addressed by creating communities that foster equal opportunities. By empowering entrepreneurs, artisans, and other impact-driven individuals, the project aims to create game-changer businesses that benefit the community.

Women have been a great example of how equal opportunities can foster a thriving community on the journey for gender equality. And like that, there are many gaps that need to be addressed, like the digital gap, the social gap, the economic gap, and the environmental gap, among others.
The project’s personal why is simple: everybody should have a chance to live in a community that fosters their best capabilities and makes the world a better place. The team behind The Common Ones is committed to creating better communities by engaging entrepreneurs with entertaining, educative content, sharing their activities and events, and displaying how community and business can thrive together.

The project also teaches alternative business models, emphasizing that there is more to business than just profit. The team shares intersectional posts on life improvements, including environmental care and social inclusion. Additionally, they support and disseminate socio-technical innovations and projects.

We are a community-driven project that strives to reduce inequalities and create better communities. By empowering entrepreneurs and artisans and teaching alternative business models, the project is making a real difference. The project’s vision is to see communities thriving and businesses that serve the community.
